This is the 200th fractal I've uploaded to an online gallery since I started making fractal art! Most of my art can be found here in my deviantART gallery, but others are from before my time here (and aren't very good in my opinion ). It's been a journey!
A big thanks to everyone who has commented, faved, featured, watched and silently appreciated my art!
As a silent appreciator of your art (sometimes), I have to come out and say congratulations on your 200th fractal! As a source of inspiration, I really look up to you. Keep on going, dude, because it's been an amazing trip so far.
As for this piece: I would have confused this piece for an Ultra Fractal work had I not known you work with Apo. What really attracted me here was the texture work. The gradient also works out well here. The fractal seems to be placed slightly off to the right, though. It may be me, but I think that's what's happening.
It's 2:30 in the morning over here, so I hope you don't mind my poor constructive criticism. Nice piece. Keep on fractaling, Joel.
Whilst I may have elected for a different crop and, ahem, do I spy jaggies (?), this is still a worthy celebration of the milestone for its sheer originality and incredible inky blur effect Here's to 200 more

Excellent work. I really like all the different textures, and the contrast with the background.
